What you need to do is to boil two liters of water and mix it with a few drops of liquid dish soap. Slowly pour down this mixture down your sink. This may take a few tries to actually work but it works wonders when you are dealing with grease clogs, since the hot water will melt the grease into liquid, making it easier for it to travel down your pipe.
Baking Soda and Vinegar
This is the most common concoction suggested as the ingredients needed are pretty much present in almost all households. Before you unclog your drain, make sure to clean your sink first. Pour ½ cup of baking soda followed by ½ cup of vinegar down the drain. Let this sit for a while and check it later. After an hour, pour a pot of boiling water down your drain. Continue doing so until your drain has been unclogged.
Salt, Borax, and Vinegar
To unclog your drain using these, pour down ¼ cup of Borax, ¼ cup of salt, and ½ cup of vinegar down the drain. Pour a pot of boiling water and wait for an hour for the drain to clear. Flush your drain by turning on your faucet and letting the tap water clear all the ingredients you poured into your drain.
Salt and Baking Soda
Mix the half a cup each of baking soda and salt together. Pour it down the drain and let it sit for some time, or perhaps overnight. Clear it with a pot of boiling water once done.
Wire Coat Hanger
To do this method, straighten your wire hangers but leave the hook alone. Have a trash bag ready to discard whatever you may find. Using the hook of the hanger, pull up any obstructions that is clogging your drain’s passageway. After removing whatever is in there, run hot water down the sink.
First, make sure to clear your sink of any plates or sponges. Fill the sink with tap water and use a rubber plunger to plunge it.
